It's time...

She wiped her hands with a paper towel, turned the oven on to 350 degrees then went back kneading the dough.  She’s making a pie.  A special pie.  A pie she knew too well would break her man’s attempt to diet.  He loves every pie she makes but loves this one the most.  She smiled as she continued to knead the dough and while listening to the tik-tak sound of his typing; busily surfing the net on his laptop, hearing a sigh here and there.

“That bad?”  She asked as she wrapped the dough with saran wrap.

“Fuck!”  He muttered indignantly.  “I can’t fucking believe this!”

She walked towards him and gently plunked herself down on his lap. 

He clutched one arm around her waist and rested his chin on her right shoulder while he clicked on the mouse, trying to close the screen.  He wasn’t fast enough though.  She held his hand firmly as she read what was written about her… about them.

“Hmm…” She mumbled.  “I guess I’m the heartless, callous bitch who can’t—”

“Baby, No!”  He hurriedly responded, closing the laptop.  “They don’t fucking know!”  He turned her around so that they were facing each other, her straddling him.  “We should sue—”

“Yes.”

“Really?  You agree with me now?”  His brows creased as he seriously stared at her eyes.  “Baby, you know this is what I want.  I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time…”

She swallowed the sudden emotion that gripped her heart.  Oh, how she loves this man.  She loves him wholly and completely.  Her man.  THEY want to grab him away from her but she knows she has his heart.  She knows he loves her with every thing that he is.  “It’s time,” she said before latching her lips to his, kissing him with so much passion.

The two four-legged companions sitting on the corner smirked thinking it’s the right decision.  It’s about time!  Sure, it’s going to be very busy and hectic.  Changes – great ones; moving – from here to there; projects... pending and new ones… AND TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS! But they know it’s time! 

Boy, the world is in for a big surprise!!!
